Why are movies so easy to watch over and over, but books we rarely read again…

24 Dec

Of course there are a few exceptions, but I’ve never been the type to read books over and over, unless it’s my own, and then I have to. But movies, I will watch a movie a million times, like Talladega Nights, and anchor man.

Of course I think it’s just simple human nature, and it’s simply easier and lazier to watch a movie. There’s no “physical exerscion” involved, meaning less mental thought, and effort.

I think this is why my mom has watched the Devil Wears Prada a million times, but hardly made it through the book. She’s lazy, hands down.

but I could be wrong…
